#46 – Gamifying Planetary Transformation with Adam Apollo

Gamifying Planetary Transformation

“A finite game is played for the purpose of winning,
an infinite game for the purpose of continuing the play. (…)

Strength is paradoxical.
I am not strong because I can force others to do what I wish as a result of my play with them,
but because I can allow them to do what they wish in the course of my play with them.”

― James P. Carse, Finite and Infinite Games: A Vision of Life as Play and Possibility

Why is gamifying the Great Transition we’re all in core to the emergent new paradigm?

Firstly because play is a different attitude than the usual hustle and grind mentality so imprinted into our embodied beings through late modernity, aka Neoliberalism gone haywire.

Secondly, because forging uncharted ways ahead to try and come up with radically new different ways to solve the complex and entangled challenges we face as humanity, needs a playful attitude.

So, time to introduce my guest for today. Like always in my podcast and before we dive into the matter, let’s get to know my guest. Amongst other things Adam Apollo has been a featured speaker at the White House, in summits at the United Nations, and at conferences globally. He is the Cofounder of UNIFY.org movement which reaches over 100M people monthly, and CEO of Superluminal Systems.

Who is Adam Apollo

  • “We need to understand our place within the larger timeframe of human and planetary evolution, and recognize that our current transitions involve complexity and whole systems change.”
  • “Indigenous wisdom is not just a tokenizable meme, but about reconnection to the foundations of who we are, where we came from, and how we can approach life with a sense of the sacred, honoring the precious nature of all life.”
  • “Even the most conservative approaches to the Drake equation today suggest that there may be thousands of intelligent civilizations in our galaxy alone. If we want to get serious about Planetary Stewardship, we need to develop the level of thinking required to manage an entire planet, and consider what being part of an interstellar civilization might look like.”

The three big technologies that can change the world overnight:

  • Local distributed energy systems, leveraging the quantum field, or maximizing efficiency in energy capture from regenerative or continuous sources.
  • Replication: the ability to duplicate any material or render any molecular structure through modification at the atomic level, or further, by adjusting the dynamics of the fundamental quantum field. Think: 3D print anything, or the Star Trek replicator.
  • Control of gravitational fields will unlock flying cars, interstellar travel at superluminal speeds (faster than light), and the complete transformation of logistics, transportation, and countless other areas of daily life.

As both his efforts in building UNIFY.org as well as Superliminal Systems tie into his current endeavor of getting CoreNexus™ off the ground, we explore their genesis and pathways and how they interrelate:

UNIFY

UNIFY was Co-Founded by Adam Apollo with Adil Kassam and Patrick Kronfli in the Fall of 2012. Since then over 100 Global Campaigns have been organized, coordinating a database of over 30,000 organizations, and synchronizing over 100,000,000 people in direct action around Sustainable Development Goals and peace meditations. Adam Apollo was responsible for the initial technology development and infrastructure for UNIFY, and helped to create and organize the Social Media pages, initial contact lists, website development, countdown processes, and more.

He was an inactive Advisor in 2014-2016, and returned to the team to restore infrastructure and team coherence in 2017. He brought in the current Executive Director and is an advisor to UNIFY operations, campaigns, affiliate programs, and more.

Superluminal Systems

was founded in 2013 as a Nevada C-Class Corporation building education systems to leverage economic, social, and environmental change. Launching three successful and profitable online Academies in its first three years including Guardian Alliance Academy, the Resonance Academy for Unified Physics, and the Visionary Arts Academy, Superluminal Systems has developed significant expertise in creating active and engaged learning communities. All of our projects are dedicated to benefit social causes, while generating economic growth and distributing wealth.

Integrating over a decade of IP, prototypes, and production system development, Superluminal Systems is currently scaling operations and building its flagship project: CoreNexus™

CoreNexus™

is a 4D Social Operating System dedicated to gamification of regenerative impact. Through providing a decentralized alternative to existing social and e-commerce systems packaged in a next-gen XR/Web/Mobile dashboard interface, CoreNexus™ brings mainstream accessibility to education, vocational development, and practical action around projects which improve and sustain quality of life for all. Leveraging a regenerative economic approach, members of the platform can drive capital to impact through collaborative creative works, plan and socially connect around missions to solve local and global problems, and build their decentralized TrustGraph network, all while earning income, points, and cryptographically secure forms of accreditation. Bringing together a vast array of sophisticated organizations working to educate and unite people around planetary peace and restoration, the platform provides organizations with connectivity and collaboration around open data, research, and projects. The CoreNexus™ platform is designed from first principles to become a first generation planetary operating system with radically new tools for visualization, collaboration, education, action, and accountability.

Beyond Web3

  • The main critique on Blockchain from an IT infrastructure stand-point?
  • Why the way ledgers are centrally organized is a core feature of them neither being able to really scale as well as having very high transaction fees.
  • Why are we so bullish on Holochain?

Adam Apollo

has been a featured speaker at the White House, in summits at the United Nations, and at conferences globally. Cofounder of UNIFY.org movement which reaches over 100M people monthly, and CEO of Superluminal Systems. Faculty and Chief Architect of the Resonance Academy, and the Guardian Alliance, with over 150,000 students. Featured on GAIA TV, Coast to Coast AM, feature films and more.

Currently building CoreNexus™, a 3D Social Operating System & Regenerative Impact Dashboard to gamify planetary transformation through large scale collaboration, the HoloFractal funding distribution system, the TrustGraph reputation and validation engine, isomorphic visualizations, and a community ecosystem stable-token with partners and mainstream reach.

#9 Real Estate as a Driver of Change with Frank Sippel.

The title seems almost a contradiction as we see the housing and affordability crisis mainly driven by extractive real estate business models in many metropolitan areas around the globe.
But this is not carved in stone. We can truly sense into the soul of a property and feel into what that space within its given surrounding really wants to serve for. And create the circumstances that enable a broad variety of stakeholders to cocreate a place full of abundance including the arts and take sustainability really to the next level.

#8 Facilitating large scale cultural change with Pamela von Sabljar, Jeff Genung and Mila Aliana.

How can we facilitate the many chrysalis cells for the emerging, regenerative paradigm that are so far often not connected, when already aligning groups is quite challenging? We truly need groups of groups that share a common North Star, all while they still pursue their own goals, obviously. This is an undertaking that has never been done before on a global scale. But we know leaps in history are possible, from the abolition of slavery, the women’s liberations movement, the end of Apartheid, the fall of the Berlin wall.

What could be a new way to imagine politics?
In this episode we are diving deep into the weeds of Citizen Action Networks (CAN). We reflect how much of the inner worlds we all inhabit, from the trauma we hold, to the memetic center of gravities that steer our perception of reality, to the culture we need to nourish, for a “Politics of Waking Up”.
